    Hello dear friend,

Kudos for your Canada Visitor Visa.

There are multiple ways to migrate once you are inside the country as well as outside. Below are the list of Visa category types and the eligibility criteria:

    1. EXPRESS ENTRY
    • This is a direct PR stream though which you can enter Canada. For this process, you will need Masters equivalent qualification (which you have),
    • IELTS 8777 ( a magical score)

    • Age less than 32 years

    1. Start Up Visa Stream / Entrepreneur stream:

Look for an incubator who will fund or back up your Business idea. This is the fastest process currently to enter Canada. Having said that, there is a fees involved for the Incubator. Eligibility is IELTS General 5554, there is no education requirement for this program. The Work Permit is also issued under this program. Effective 26 June 2023, government has amended this program with an Open Work Permit, which means you will get an Open Work Permit for first 10000 applications for the duration of 3 years. Permanent Residency is also guaranteed under Start Up Visa within 12-15 Months but you can be in Canada till then with Work Permit.

    1. STUDENT VISA:

If you have a valid Student Visa stamped on your passport you are allowed to book a one way flight ticket to Canada.

Also, if you think logically, if you are going for a one year or 2 years of Masters study or 3-4 years of Bachelor Study, you will definitely not be sure, when you will be travelling back to your home country. Eligibility for the same is IELTS 6666 Overall 6.5. Having said that, Student Visa is not for those above 28 years old. Anyone above 28 years old, the Visa is difficult.

    1. LMIA WORK PERMIT:

Same is the case for Work Permit, as your Work Permit might be a closed permit ie, LMIA or LMIA exempt which can be for 1 or 2 years or it can be a Post Study Work Permit which can be for a 2-3 years. Having said that, getting a LMIA Job offer is near to impossible.

All in all, looking at your scenario, experience and age, Start Up Visa is best option.

    Dear Friend,

If I compare UK Student Visa process to Canada, UK offers a Priority and Super Priority Visa process which fastens the visa processing time for Study Visa. Having said that, in Canada, there is no such provision to expedite the timeline for Visa processing.

Having said that, to speed up the Visa processing timeline, I would opine you to follow a simple checklist of documents. If you have added all the required documents for the Student Visa, the chance of getting the positive visa decision upsurges.

    Add documents like

    • Passport clear copy
    • IF you have Travel history, add the stampings of In and Out of your home country along with the Visa.
    • Offer Letter and Letter of Acceptance
    • Educational documents : clear marksheets, degree certificates and Transcripts
    • Work Experience : Add your Offer letter, relieving letter or experience letter from your employers in the last 10 years
    • Financials: Income tax documents, Valuation certificate, Income tax documents, Bank Statements
    • Additionally, if your name is different from the passport on any of the documents, please make a name change affidavit
    • And many more

The complete set of documents will proliferate the probability of getting your visa decision faster. That said, if there are any missing documents, the Visa immigration officer will send an email or note to you to furnish the required document, but it increases the turn around time.

All in all, adding all documents will lead to faster results.

    Dear friend,

Your question is open as it is not country specific having said that, every country has a varied process for the Student Visa.

But to guide you, you should be following below steps when you are planning for Study Abroad:

    1. Identify the Country firstly
    2. Decide a profession and a course which you are interested in. Look for a Career Coach who can better guide you, if you are not clear with the subject and field. Ideally, what I have witnessed is 70% of the student are unclear about which course or field I shoukd study. I ideally take a Psychometric Test, Aptitude Test, Interview and guidance session so that you are able to shortlist a profession and the the course
    3. Look for Universities and Colleges, prioritize the list based on cost, quality, ranking and location. Sometimes, placement / co-op, practicum may be one of the decision factor
    4. Apply for the universities through a guide or a coach so that your mentor would help you to understand the requirements and pre-requisites of the University / college.
    5. Apply for Scholarship : Universities / Colleges have their own mechanism for evaluation and grant of scholarships. Few offer Early bird discounts or scholarships, thus, I always prescribe to apply at least 6-8 months in advance. Also there are academic scholarships based on your percentage or grades. Furthermore, there are aids for English language test. Look carefully for the English language test. Few countries may not have a requirement for English language test.
    6. Receive your offer letter and accept the offer within time. Pay deposit
    7. Pay the entire years Tuition fee as it is recommended for the purpose of Visa. You can apply for loan for the tuition fees
    8. Aforesaid your living expense aside along with the Tuition fees. Check if there is any requirement for Proof of Funds/ Show money.
    9. Apply for your Student Visa Online, most of the countries follow student Visa through VFS Global. Take assistance of your mentor or Career Coach or Counsellor for the Visa documentation as these might vary based on case to case.
    10. Get your Visa and plan your travel date, Book your accommodation, look for Facebook groups of your college / university for shared accommodation or you can also look for hostel accommodation within the campus.

For any guidance on the entire process, please feel free to contact me.

    Dear friend,

This is a subjective question bars on multiple factors but I will try to answer at the level best.

There are two categories of Visa streams

    – SDS ( Student Direct Stream)

    – Non – SDS

SDS is much faster as compared to non – SDS. Also SDS is a stream which has very high Chances of getting a visa.

Non- SDS can be used for those who do not have GIC, Full year fees or IELTS is less than 6.5 overall or some section less than 6. That said, chances of visa in Non- SDS is very low.

The student Visa for Canada🇨🇦 is for below levels

    1. Under graduate programs like

    – Diploma ie 1 year or 2 years duration

    – Advanced Diploma ie 2 years duration

    – Bachelor’s program ie 3 years or 4 years which can include co-op or placement year

Ideally I have seen that the visa processing time for such students is ideally 1.5 months provided all the documents are provided properly.

    B.Post Graduate/Masters Programs

    – Post Graduate Diploma

    – Post Graduate Certificate

    – Masters

This can include Co-op or placement year

Ideally duration of this program is 1 or 2 years depending on the course.

To illustrate, ideally programs like Culinary Management, International Business Management are of the duration 2 years.

While, programs like Project Management, Business Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing are ideally 1 year. There can be exceptions for some college / universities with the duration depending on the course outline.

Visa processing time for such programs is ideally – 2.5 to 3 months for Indian applicants.

Having said that, currently the time can vary depending on the documentation provided.

NOTE- To expidite the Visa processing kindly attach below documents

    – GIC

    – Full year fees

    – Offer letter and Letter of Acceptance

    – Financial documents like ITR, Bank statement

    – Education documents including Marksheets, Degree, transcript

    – Statement of Purpose which is a very important document that describes your purpose of study

    – Medical

    – any other other relevant

If you provide complete documentation, visa processing might sometimes get expidited. Furthermore, the visa processing time will plummet post Jan 2023 as per the guidelines of IRCC.

    Hello my dear friend,

If you are already on a Work Permit which can be open or closed, you can invite your wife / spouse or common law partner on an Open Work Permit. This is a privilege given to you as a Work Permit holder. Having said that, it is not obligatory for the immigration officer to grant the open work permit for your spouse.

You have explain in detail as to why this permit needs to be granted to your spouse. Below are the points that you need to showcase:

-Your Work experience documents: You need to attach your Offer letter, Work experience letter, Employer confirmation letter, Salary Slips (minimum 2) and any other document that proves your employment

-Your Savings: You have to show proof of funds for your spouse in your bank account which can be Canadian or your home country Bank account. Please check the proof of funds section on IRCC website.

-Your Income tax documents: If you have filed taxes in Canada, please attach the documents

-Course Completion Certificate: If you have studied in Canada previous to your study, you need to attach the transcript of Course completion certificate along with this application

-Marriage proof: You need to prove that your spouse or common law partner is actually married to you or you have been knowing each other for a very long time. This is the vital document. This can be shown by marriage certificate, photographs, your chat history, email history and many more. This is the most ignored section which leads to the visa rejection.

All in all, you can invite your spouse and file for an open work permit for him/her with proper documentation.

    Hello my dear friend,

There can be several reasons for rejection of Canadian Student Visa. Few of them are as under:

    1. Improper SOP (Statement of Purpose): SOP is a crucial document when you apply for a Canada Student Visa. Your SOP should be as detailed and original as possible. When I say original, it should not be copied from somebody else. It has to be written by you or under a supervision of your Career Coach. I work very closely with my students in terms of SOP as this document should clearly depict the student and his objectives. Fe of the pointers that needs to be highlighted are:

-Introduction about you and your family

    -Your strengths and passion

    -Your previous education

    -Your previous Work Experience

    -Your intended course

    -Your intended University / college

    -Why Canada?

    -Your intentions to come back

-Your financial background and many more

    1. Previous Education: Your intended course that you are applying for should be in-line with the previous education that you have done. To illustrate, if you are a Bachelor in Computer Engineering or Information Technology, you can select a program like Artificial Intelligence or Data Science or other. Previous education mismatch can lead to a rejection like a mechanical engineer applying for an Artificial Intelligence program
    2. Improper province: This is the trickiest part when you choose a program. You have to choose a province depending on the age, job market and demand of the program. I would ideally recommend you to do some research in terms of the job market while selection of the province. Also, justify why you have selected this province. Research about your prospective employers in the province in which you are applying for your course as this would give a greater impact in terms of convincing the immigration officer.
    3. Work Experience mismatch: Carefully examine your Work experience or internships that you have showcased. You should have a program selected which is in-line with the previous work experience. Selecting a program from your field safeguards you from visa rejection. To illustrate, if you have a work experience in the field of Digital Marketing but you have selected a program in Business Analysis or Artificial intelligence, then it’s a very high probability for rejection.
    4. Visa Category selection: Make sure you have applied for a Student Visa in a right category like SDS (Student Direct Stream) which needs you to have IELTS 6 in each section and 6.5 overall, GIC of 10,050 CAD which is mandatory and entire years tuition fees is paid. If not, you should apply in Non SDS category. NOTE: I would strongly prescribe you to go ahead with SDS category.
    5. Study the reason of rejection: Seek help of a professional consultant to apply for a GCMS or CAIPS Notes which is a detailed document that will tell you why your visa was rejected. Study the document well and then refile the Student visa with proper reasoning. Write a very strong SOP explaining why the visa decision is incorrect. Make sure the explanation is as per the immigration rules. Seek help of a professional. Moreover, study the section under which the visa is been rejected. To illustrate most common reason for visa rejection is section R216 (1) (b) of the IRPR, this section is applied where the immigration officer is not convinced that you will leave the Canadian soil post completion of your study. You will have to carefully explain why will you leave Canada post completion of your education. Justify your financials, family and any other reason that exists.

All in all, do a detail study before you reapply for a Canada Student Visa post rejection.
