After how many years can I apply for PR in Canada with a of Work Permit of Two years?

If you have a 2 years Work permit, you need to gain a work experience of 1560 hours (1 year) which can be completed in 12 calendar months.

1. Hours: You can have a full time or a Part time Work Experience, but you need to claim this 1 year (1560 hours) Work Experience. You are allowed to do a Full time Job, 2 Part Time Jobs or 2 Full time jobs . Regardless of your number of hours that you have worked in a week, you can claim only 40 hours of maximum to be eligible for your 1 year of Work Experience.

To illustrate, if you have two jobs:

Job A: 25 hours a week       

Job B: 30 hours a week

The maximum you can claim in a week is only 40 hours per week.

1. Digress jobs: You are also allowed to have digress work experience like, you can work as an IT Engineer but part time you can work in a restaurant as a server.
2. Business – Self Employed: Even if you are self employed, you can claim these hours of Work Experience. Make sure, you have a proper and legitimate justification for these hours of work. You can take salary from your own company by deducting taxes so that, the self-employed work experience is not challenged.

All in all, after 12 months of your Work Experience you can file for you Canadian PR by claiming 1560 hours of work experience.
