    Dear friend,

80 percent in 12th and an IELTS 7 Band overall is a great score to secure admission in any course and any University.

According to your profile, I would strongly recommend you to go ahead only with Universities and not Colleges as Universities are much better than colleges.

    Advantages of Universities over Colleges:

    • Better Job prospects
    • Good Ranking
    • Better courses
    • Very high probability on Visa
    • High probability for Scholarships

    NOTE:

Make a good SOP for your application to secure a good scholarship for your course in the University.

Best luck, if any help needed, kindly feel free to get in touch.

    Hello dear friend,

If you have already received Student Visa for Canada, I assume that you already have the IELTS Score card in the past when you applied for the Visa.

Once you get the Student Visa stamped on your passport and if your IELTS is expired, you are not required to give the IELTS again.

To illustrate, you have applied for September 2023 Intake in Canada. You had your IELTS valid in the month of May 2023, when you applied for the Student Visa. You have already got the Visa approved in the Month of July 2023 and now you are flying in August 2023, you will not need to have your IELTS valid as your passport is already stamped and you have a valid Student Permit.

Having said that, if you are applying for a Canada Student Permit for Sept 2023 intake in the month of May 2023, and your IELTS is expired, you will definitely be required to appear for your IELTS exam again before you file your Student Visa.

Also, IELTS proficiency test is only for those who are applying for Student Visa, Work Permit, PR, PNP, Business Investment Visa or Start up Visa and not for Visitors. Also, if you are from an English speaking country like England, USA or from any European country, you do not require any English proficiency test results.

    Hello Dear Friend,

Canadian Immigration is the most easiest and the applicant friendly immigration system. Having said that, currently there are challenges for International applicants in the Express Entry and Provincial Nomination Programs as the points in the Express Entry has increased radically.

On the other hand, education has become a bright and fastest route towards Permanent Residency in Canada.

As Express Entry has increased its eligibility criteria for draws, all applicants are moving towards pursuing International education in Canada. Education in Canada gives you extra points in Express Entry.

Additionally, you get a Post Study Work Permit post completion of your studies. If you have enrolled for a 1 year program, you get 1 year Post Study Work Permit. If your study is for 2 years, you will be eligible for 2 years Post Study Work Permit.

Within this Post Study Work Permit, you need to gain Work Experience to be eligible for Permanent Residency of Canada.

Express Entry: If you have 1 year of Work Experience, you will be eligible for Express Entry.

Ontario: In provinces like Ontario, you can apply for OINP with Ontario Work Experience or under Ontaria Entrepreneur Program.

Manitoba: In province of Manitoba, with a work experience of 6 months, you will be eligible for a PR. With a Work experience of 2 Months in NOC B, you can also apply for a PR.

Alberta: In province of Alberta, you can get PR if you have 6 months of Work Experience by applying under Alberta PNP

Quebec: In Quebec, you can apply for Exam in French (TEF) and be eligible for PR under Quebec PNP.

All in All, there are plenty approaches under which you can seek your Permanent Residency of Canada, if you are within the Canadian soil on a Student Permit. You just need to enter inside and you will have plethora of choices.

    Hello dear friend,

NOTE: SDS – Student Direct Stream

    PRE COVID:

SDS : The Visa processing time was maximum 30 days. If the file is complicated it would take 45 days, while if the file is easy, it would even sometimes take 7–10 days.

NON-SDS – Processing time would be 5–6 Months as there were ample files in the queue.

    WHILE COVID:

SDS: The Visa processing time while Covid till Dec 2022 was 2.5–3 Months as the queue was very long and very few immigrations officer to evaluate and process the Visa files.

NON SDS : Surprisingly, the NON- SDS files were processed faster as compared to SDS as the queue for NON-SDS was very less.

    POST COVID:

SDS: Currently, we are back to normal ie. PRE COVID. The files usually take around 20–30 days for Visa processing. In few cases, where we have applied for Visa’s for our students where all the documents are properly explained and submitted, we have seen positive results in 7 days as well.

NON-SDS: The Processing time is currently 3 Months for the same.

RECOMMENDATION: Looking at the Visa success rate, I would always recommend you to apply under the SDS Scheme regardless of the timelines for Visa processing.

    Hello dear friend,

Your education credentials are very significant. Having said that, your 37 marks in Maths can be covered up well with a good SOP (Statement of Purpose).

Furthermore, 70 in Class 12 or +2 is really amazing and that shows a good leap in your study.

In your Statement of Purpose, you can mention the reason why you scored less in Class 10th which can be

    – Health reason

    -Family reason or any other.

Also, try to construct our profile for the course you are forecasting to opt for.

To illustrate, if you are considering for a course like IT Engineering, you can do some course in Python, Java and other coding languages.

If you are planning for a program in Business Management, you can undergo training in the field of Marketing, Sales, HR and other which are part of Business Management.
