You will find ample of Indians in Canada who are free to practice their festivals, rituals and cultures in Canada. Canadians are the most welcoming race on the planet earth. Canadians do not discriminate Indians or Asians
Religion practices: Canada permits every human to practice their own religion which is an added advantage. In Canada, you will witness more than 120 races and thus, it’s a cosmopolitan land. You will find temples, Mosques or Gurudwaras in Canada. All festivals are celebrated equally in Canada.

Study Pattern: Study pattern of Canada is much easier than India. It is more practical and less theoretical. Canadian education system evolves with project based learning over theory examinations. There are assignment which are part of the evaluation mechanism which helps students envisage creativity. There are presentations which makes students more confident in their work place. Canadian education system involves Co-op or Internships which help students to get practical experience of workplace and help them get an experience.
Loan Facility for Cost of Living: Canada is the only country which has introduced GIC which is 10050 CAD which is distributed and funded to the student every month. In all other countries the Indian or International Banks only fund for Tuition Fees and not the living expense but Canada is the only country for which even the cost of living is also been funded by the banks on account of GIC. Thus, there is less burden for the students and parents for self-contribution. The entire cost of studies and living cost is covered under loan. Furthermore, Canada is the only country where Banks give a moratorium period for study + 1 year for a EMI or Pre EMI. To illustrate, if your course of Masters is 2 years, then your EMI will start after 3 years and no Pre-EMI till that period.
Part time Work Permit: Canada allows International Students to work part time along with their studies. Student are allowed to work 20 hours per week ie 80 hours a month which helps them to take care of their monthly expenses like accommodation, food and travel. Also, equips them to save money and pay the fees for the consecutive year or pay back their loans.
Post Study Work Permit: In Canada post completion of your studies you are eligible for a Post Study Work Permit (PSWP) which is assured. If you have enrolled for a 1 year program, you will get a 1 years PSWP, if you have undergone a program of 2 years or more, you will be eligible for a 3 years Post Study Work Permit.
Easy Job access: Canada is an easy Job Market for Students as while study it is very easy to find job in Malls, Restaurants, Shops, Retail stores and other places. Also, Post Study Work Permit, it is comparatively easier to find job in your craved field by help of Employment houses which is a Free service offer by the government.
Guaranteed PR Options: In Canada, in your Post Study Work Permit, you need to gain Work Experience and apply for a PR. If you have a Work experience of 1 year within the 1-3 years of your Post Study Work Permit, you are eligible for PR under Express Entry. Furthermore, there are also Provincial Nomination Programs which can sponsor you PR within 6 Months of Work Experience.
Citizenship Roadmap: Canada offers their PR holders to apply for Citizenship in Canada after a stay of 3 years on Canadian soil. You have a voting right as a citizen which is not offered as a PR.
Cross field Work Experience: Canada allows you to work in any field while Study and even Post Study. In your Post Study Work Permit, if you have Work experience in cross field even that is counted as a valid Work experience for PR. To elucidate, if you have done your Masters or Post Graduation in the field of Computer science, you can still work in a Restaurant or Mall and gain experience and apply for a PR. There will be no question asked as to why did you work in a cross field?
FREE Medical: Canadian government allows Free Medical for Students under the Student insurance program which is included in your Tuition Fees. And After PR, you are entitled for all medical benefits free of cost.
FREE Education for your children: Your children will get Free education on your Post Study Work Permit or PR. Additionally, the Canadian government gives you child allowance of up to 800 CAD per month per child to foster your children.
Unemployment aid: Canadian government offers a aid to relief their PR and Citizen in unforeseeable circumstances like loss of pay due to mass layoff or no job. Even in the Pandemic, the Canadian government has been very sympathetic and has paid every student, PR, Citizen and businesses an amount ranging form 2000-5000 CAD.
All in all, Canada is the best place to live for Indian Students.
