A Canadian student after his Canadian PR, can sponsor his / her parents for Canadian PR.
While, you sponsor your parents with the parental sponsorship, you can apply for Super Visa which is for 10 years. In a super visa, the parents can stay for 10 years but they can’t work out get any benefits of a Canadian PR.
After your study of 1–2 years, you will be eligible for 1–3 years of Post Study Work Permit. In the post study Work permit, you have to gain 1 year of work experience and apply for Canadian PR. Post 2 years of your PR, you can sponsor you parents for PR. You need to attain the requirement of salary / income for the year to sponsor the parents.
The parents get all the benefits same as the Canadian PR like
– Work permit
– Medical benefits
– Employment benefit
